[2024/01/15 15:26] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Atilla is watching the guard rotations from the shadows to record the best places to get in and out, expecting them to be on edge after their weird interactions
[2024/01/15 15:26] Sonja Bikergrrl: The guards do seem to be a bit on edge, as far as you can tell, but with a certain weariness to it.
[2024/01/15 15:28] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Possibly they could be repeatedly given false alarms over time and worn out. Something for later. Where are they defending most consistantly?
[2024/01/15 15:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: Hard to say; they are certainly guarding the wall, to keep intruders out, but there's a lot of nervous glancing. It's clear there's something they find unsettling behind them...
[2024/01/15 15:30] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: is there a visible passageway "behind" them or does that seem to be their buildings?
[2024/01/15 15:30] Alicia Frakture: Considering they are in a cave keep to the outskirts just watch things. report back
[2024/01/15 15:31] Sonja Bikergrrl: You can't see that from your position - but when you were "inside" it seemed like one passage.
[2024/01/15 15:32] Sonja Bikergrrl: The monkey skitters over the cave floor, knocking a few rocks about, ooking and eeking. Two or three of the nearer guards immediately look round and down, bows out and arrows nocked.

[2024/01/15 15:35] Sonja Bikergrrl: Your vision blurrs, doubles, then, you're seeing the cave from low down, with much in shadow and darkness. You can hear the muttering of men, pointing bows in your general direction, but it's clear they can't see you

[2024/01/15 15:38] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Atilla glances to Skamos, listening in to her muttering and planning for his own trek along the ceiling to find out what's behind them that has them nervous... actually, now that they are distracted, is now a good time to make the sneak-trek?
[2024/01/15 15:38] Sonja Bikergrrl: The monkey gives a little mechanical "Ook" and sidles closer, out of the direction the men are looking. You can hear better than you can see. "Did you hear that?" "Probably just some scav." "I'm telling you, I heard something!"

[2024/01/15 15:39] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: climbing along the ceiling look viable? going along the stactites and craggy upper walls?
[2024/01/15 15:40] Sonja Bikergrrl: That's going to require a lot more skill/equipment

[2024/01/15 15:42] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: how wide is the wall, in terms of places to simply go over the top of it?
[2024/01/15 15:43] Alicia Frakture: If you can climb the wall and not be seen do it
[2024/01/15 15:43] Sonja Bikergrrl: It's about 8' tall, roughly, and about 30-40' long. Wide enough for men to stand and be elevated and in cover, to an extent.
[2024/01/15 15:43] Sonja Bikergrrl: Monkey relay: "Just put your bow down, no sense getting jumpy and shooting each other!"
[2024/01/15 15:46] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: so like 6 to 8 squares wide, hmmmm. "You have any truth serum, Skamos?"

[2024/01/15 15:58] Sonja Bikergrrl: The men spread out again, bows by their sides again, and the monkey ooks quietly and swings down to ground level again and ambles back

[2024/01/15 16:04] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: He glances back and forth between them, and heads with her to a quieter place before asking. "What'd you find out, Skamos?

[2024/01/15 16:10] Sonja Bikergrrl: It's an unevental trip back, narratively speaking; you get to avoid a few scavenging creatures here and there but finally you are back in the familiarity of the drow caves.
